New cryo-electron microscopy professorship and new equipment

23.05.2019 – The ETH Board has appointed Martin Pilhofer Professor of Cryo-Electron Microscopy with effect from 1 June 2019. Pilhofer previously held the position of Assistant Professor at the Department of Biology’s Institute of Molecular Biology and Biophysics at ETH Zurich.

Insight into pharmacoepidemiology

22.05.2019 – In March 2018, Andrea Burden was appointed Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Pharmacoepidemiology by the ETH Board. Yesterday she gave her introduction lecture in the Audimax. The researcher is investigating the efficacy of drugs in selected patient groups.

This contribution, which will be distributed over ten years, will establish a professorship in robotics.
